The biggest field ever climbed to 92 men and women golfers – that morphed up to 140 for lunch at the Twin Waters Golf Club restaurant.

This year’s competition was an Ambrose event to bring people together. For the 3 people in Twin Waters not golfers – Ambrose can mean players form a team of 2. Both hit off, but then pick the best ball of the two – and then hit off from that spot, until they get to the end. Definitely helps to have a hot-shot partner!

In other types of competition – it is every player for themselves.

Special Thanks to major sponsors, Lydia Kirn Real Estate & husband Freddie who took the fabulous pics for the newsletter and others now posted on the website. Also, thanks to: Twin Waters Golf Academy, Drummond Golf, Lever Law, Living Choice and The Loose Goose. Particular thanks to TWRA members, Kevin and Margie Lyons for their tireless work in making it all happen – both before and on the day. Get them to run the country: it would work better – and everyone would tee off on time!

SOME OF THE HAPPY WINNERS ON THE DAY:

The winning Team was Ric Goudie and Len Lever (President Sophie’s husband) who was bemused to win the prize donated by the Lever’s law firm – some top bubbles. The man in middle is event organiser Kevin Lyons, who later had his own family moment.
