Evan and his wife Lois joined the TWRA on arrival in 2012. Evan joined the Management Committee in 2014 and now has big shoes of Warwick Daniels to fill as coordinator of the TWRA Christmas Carols. His career includes senior executive roles in the electricity, oil and gas industries, principal consultant to Conoco corporate university in Houston. Over 10 years in his own consulting business he worked with DuPont’s global safety consulting group in many assignments throughout the Asia Pacific. Currently Evan is engaged on the new hospital project to advise Lend Lease and Spotless on local company capabilities and promote their use by these Exemplar Health partners. He will fill a similar role on the Airport Expansion Project consulting to Council. He serves as Chair of the Kuluin School Local Chaplaincy Committee and member of Maroochy North Shore Lions. Evan and Lois have lived in Central and North Queensland, Brisbane, Houston, Nimbin, Gold Coast and Toowoomba. They have no doubt that Twin Waters is tops and are keen to contribute to keep it that way.
