First a reminder that our General Meeting (open to members and the public) is on MONDAY NIGHT – 7.00pm NOVOTEL SUNSHINE COAST RESORT.
Come and join the crowd – and if you’re new, tell us when you come in the door so we can give you a special welcome.
SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKERS Monday night are – Narelle and Lynda, two volunteers from one of our favourite local groups, OzHarvest. OzHarvest is making a true difference in our community through food rescue, advocacy and education. Since 2014, OzHarvest Sunshine Coast has rescued 1, 478, 477 kgs of food and has delivered 3, 491, 089 meals! Not only is OzHarvest providing essential food relief in our community but the organisation is also providing education on initiatives to reduce the amount of food waste in landfill and is running programs and events to inspire all to look at ways to be creative in the kitchen.
OzHarvest is also the beneficiary of funds raised this year at our Party in the Park, a very deserving recipient!
