Hello Everyone
We are appealing to the residents along Anchorage Circuit who have CCTV Security Units which record to check their files for Monday afternoon between 1.30 & 3.30 pm.
It may help identify a teenage male who exposed himself to a woman resident at about 3.20pm Monday.
The woman was walking on the Eastern end of the pedestrian bridge close to Anchorage Circuit when the teenager approached her and exposed his genitalia.
The resident told the young man off and threatened to take his photo, which prompted him to run off in the direction of the Maroochy River Weir. The resident later reported the incident to the Police.
The offender is described as: approximately 15 -17 years old, wearing dark shorts, a khaki/olive coloured plain t-shirt and a floppy, dark hat. He had dark wispy hair and an olive complexion. He was carrying a fishing rod and wearing a dark back pack.
We believe it is possible he may have travelled to the area along Anchorage Circuit to go fishing and so may have been caught in passing by local camera systems.
If you have any material that you believe could be of use please contact us via the [email protected] email.
The resident, while shocked was otherwise unharmed, but also thought it useful for the wider Twin Waters community to be aware of her experience.
