Committee Nominations

Good morning Members

At the AGM of the Association each year, members have the opportunity to vote upon the election of the Committee.   Any financial member is eligible to be nominated for the following positions:

  • President
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary
  • Committee Member

The form to nominate can be found here.   Committee members are expected to attend monthly committee meetings (currently on a Thursday 3.30pm to 5.00pm), and general meetings every two months (Feb, April, June, August, October and December), on a Monday evening starting at 7.30pm.  Each committee member also is involved in a sub-committee, for example landscape maintenance, events (Christmas Carols, Christmas in July, Party in the Park, Gardening Comp, Golf etc), communications (website, newsletter and social media), airport liaison, grants and insurance and the like.  It’s busy, but very rewarding!

Completed nomination forms must be sent to the Secretary (by email or by post) by not later than the 13th July 2023.

The AGM will be held on the 14th August 2023, at the Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort at 7.30pm.
